Bradley J. Sollars

Mr. Sollars represents multi-employer plans and their Trustees in federal and state court in a wide-variety of matters including collection disputes, withdrawal liability matters, benefit claims and bankruptcy. Brad has also represented labor unions in collective bargaining and representational matters. 

 

In addition to litigation, Brad advises clients on compliance with ERISA, HIPAA, the Pension Protection Act, COBRA and other federal and state laws. Mr. Sollars also advises clients on fiduciary obligations, service provider agreements and plan disclosure requirements. 

 

Mr. Sollars received his law degree from the University of Iowa College of Law in 2003 and his undergraduate degree from Tulane University in 2000. Brad joined the firm in 2003 and became a shareholder in 2013. Brad has been selected as a Rising Star by Missouri and Kansas Super Lawyers from 2012 through 2018. 

 

Brad has practiced law in New York in addition to Missouri. Mr. Sollars is licensed to practice in the state courts of Missouri, Kansas, Iowa and New York and the federal courts in Missouri, Kansas and Nebraska and the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the Southern District of Iowa. He is also licensed to practice in various bankruptcy courts.
