Dustin L. Watkins

Dustin joined Arnold, Newbold, Sollars & Hollins, P.C. in 2020. Before joining the firm, Dustin was an associate at Blake & Uhlig, P.A. where he represented multiemployer pension and welfare plans. Before that position, he was an associate at Sugarman & Susskind, P.A. where his practice also included representing governmental pension plans and labor organizations.

 

Dustin has extensive experience advising and representing multiemployer and governmental pension and welfare plans. He is well versed in the body of federal laws that regulate collectively bargained employee benefit plans, including federal tax qualification rules, ERISA, and HIPAA/HITECH. He also has experience representing labor organizations in grievance arbitrations, unfair labor practice proceedings, and internal administrative and regulatory matters. While in law school, he was a law clerk for Service Employees International Union Local 73 in Chicago, Illinois. He is a member of the AFL-CIO Lawyers Coordinating Committee. He earned his Juris Doctor in 2012 from Chicago-Kent College of Law and his Bachelor’s Degree in 2009 from the University of Missouri – Columbia.

 

Dustin is admitted to the bars of Missouri, Kansas, Illinois, and Florida.
