Arnold, Newbold, Sollars & Hollins, P.C. concentrates its practice on the representation of labor organizations and their affiliated employee benefit plans.  Our attorneys have more than 125 years of combined experience representing labor organizations, multi-employer, jointly managed employee benefit plans, public employee benefit plans and their trustees.

ERISA/Employee Benefits

The Firm has been representing employee benefit plans and their Trustees for over 40 years. The Firm provides advice on plan compliance issues such as plan and benefit design, fiduciary duties, and compliance with ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA and other federal and state laws. The Firm also represents employee benefit plans and their Trustees in litigation, including benefit claims, collection actions, fiduciary litigation and withdrawal liability claims.   

Labor Law

The Firm provides legal services to labor organizations and their members in both the private and public sectors.  We represent labor organizations on a national, regional and local basis in a variety of industries and professions.  The firm represents our union clients in a broad range of areas including: assisting with organizing campaigns; participating in contract negotiations; prosecuting grievances in labor arbitrations; providing advice on publicizing disputes with employers and providing information to the public regarding those disputes; prosecuting and defending unfair labor practices before the National Labor Relations Board; and, prosecuting and defending actions in the federal and state courts.
